µBackup 5 Alpha 2 released!

Hi guys,
we are proud to announce µBackup 4.90.0 (alpha 2)!
It contains some bug fixes and:
- CLI-based frontend;
- full SQLite3 Settings DB;
- a revised configurator;
- no more translations until the stable release (5.00.0)

µBackup 5 Alpha 1 released!

Today, Saturday 23 January 2010, we have released the Alpha 1 of µBackup 5, the first version completely written in Python.
We are working to implement old µBackup series features, like SQLite3 and Pattern support (already implemented) and, in the future, functions like FTP backup.
So, stay tuned ;)

µBackup for WinNT 1.0 Alpha 3 released!

Hi!
Today we have released the 3rd alpha of µBackup for WinNT systems (0.99.3.winnt.16).
Note that this is not the port of the original µBackup for Unix systems, but this is a completely
rewritten version.
Main features of this development release are:
- Logging support
- SetCheck tool
- Possibility to configure Log file
- Possibility to set the destination
directory of the backup archive (%dest_dir%)
- Possibility to check and modify
the configuration settings before the backup

A year and a day ago we release the 1.0 Alpha 4. Now we release the 3.4 Alpha 1. Cool uh?

On Wednesday 08 July 2008 was founded µSoft as LXE-SW and was registered µBackup as BXE.
After just three days was released BXE 1.0 Alpha 4, its first public release.
Today µBackup make a year, during which is gained and have improved with many new features. Our gaze is facing the future, thinking of new software and hoping to always have a wider circle of users.
