Hi! I'm Nicholas Wheeler. Currently I am interested in becomming a Ubuntu MOTU.

I'm now interested in helping out on the spec for Home User Backup. Perhaps convince current leader to use Mondo/Mindi.

I've recently packaged a script called gin to help with multilingual edubuntu ltsp environments. This was done for the DC's LoCo team. You can visit their website at: http://dc.ubuntu-us.org (of which I am the administrator).

Here are wiki pages that I've created, or helped with the creation:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WifiDocs/Driver/Broadcom43xx
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MondoMindi
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NicholasWheeler (of course...)

I have attended conferences to promote the use of Ubuntu. So far I've attended 2005 NECC, and set up a Ubuntu LTSP network/farm, and FOSE, where I helped promote the use of Linux through Ubuntu and openSUSE in the government. We gave out 1300 Ubuntu CDs, and about 1300 openSUSE dvds. I'm currently preparing to attend the 2006 NECC, which starts July 5 in San Diego.

My contact information can be found o'er there, and down below.
