PPA description

gitg packages for Ubuntu. Updated against official git repo when a sensible backport is not available anywhere else.

This PPA will be solely used for git-cola, so you don't have to worry about accidently updating / breaking other software packages.

Use this PPA at your own risk.

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:winski/gitg to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:winski/gitg
sudo apt update
