xorg synaptics driver 1.8.x backported to trusty
PPA description
...for those of us with ThinkPad T440's and the like, or really, anyone with the newer "buttonless" trackpoints/touchpads.

Note: I've only used this with the utopic/lts linux-image (kernel) backport packages; YMMV when used with the stock trusty kernels.

Adding this PPA to your system
