Consistently trying to use free software. Running Debian on my own systems.

Also still supporting and working om IBM AS/400 systems (in the course of its history also called iSeries, or 'IBM i').

Experience with RPG (yes this is very old - but surprisingly effective), Cobol (really hate this), Java (very nice, but has a lot of programming overhead), javascript (only gets acceptable when combined with toolssets like jquery or dojo).

Python is the way to go...
