PPA description
backported (and sometimes forward-ported) packages for stable releases (mainly LTS releases). You may find the odd bugfixed package for a non-LTS pocket in here as well when an SRU is not progressing quickly. Downloading the bugfixed packages individually instead of enabling the whole PPA is recommended.
To give you a bit of confidence in this PPA, I'd like to point out that I'm an official Debian Maintainer with upload rights to the Debian distribution itself.
Packages built for bionic or focal should run fine in later releases such as focal+1.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:r0lf/stable to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:r0lf/stable
sudo apt update
