PPA description

This PPA holds the current git master of libimobiledevice (from https://github.com/libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice). A newer version is needed for iOS7 support (see LP:1207812).

Just add it, upgrade and install libimobiledevice-utils if you want/need them. The package ipheth-utils helps with USB tethering.

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:mniess/libimobiledevice to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mniess/libimobiledevice
sudo apt update
