Release notes

The very first release of my simple little Python-script that uses the python-twitpic module (http://code.google.com/p/python-twitpic/).

This release should just work. You run it, choose your image, write your tweet and press Ok. When it's done uploading you get a NotifyOSD.

I wanted a simple way to upload images to TwitPic (Twitter at all) without logging on to a webpage. Instead I wanted to upload it directly from my desktop. This script or little application does exactly that!

In 0.2 I will make it possible for right-clicking on a image and then upload it. It will also use Gnome-Keyring for username and password. In this release the username and password is saved hashed in a file.

You have to run it trough a terminal for the first time, to set your username and password. In 0.2 this will be GUI-based too.
$ python post.py

Happy tweeting!
