Development on hold

GnuCash is currently undergoing development on a 2.3.x series that will eventually lead to a 2.4.0 release. Release was targeted for 03 August 2009 (http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Release_Schedule#Release_Schedule_for_2.3.x) but is still pending. These versions include SQLite/PostgreSQL/MySQL support through libdbi.

To avoid the work of packaging GnuCash 2.3.x or 2.4.0 for Ubuntu, Pocketbook development will be suspended until one of these versions is packaged.

Work on supporting the GnuCash XML storage backend will stop in favour of the database storage backend.
