The "main" series represents the primary line of development and is ntrack's one and only development series.

There are and will be no maintenance branches for ntrack; also there are and will be no alpha, beta, RC or point releases of any form. Version number scheme is consistent and simple: A three digit number counting upwards from 001 to 999. Every release should be good for production; if against all odds that's not the case for you, downgrade to previous working release and submit bugs and patches and wait for next working release.

For those who wonder what happens after we reached release 999, here the official answer from asac: "ntrack project will stop releasing once we have reached version 999. From there on, it is OK to use bzr revno's to refer to a ntrack version."
